Logan Intl. Airport - Terminal C - Entryway and Interior Improvements

Rizvi is providing comprehensive design services for the Terminal C Entryway and Interior Improvements Project at Logan International Airport. Rizvi is serving as the prime consultant, leading a related team of consultants from concept design through construction administration. This $4 million project targets specific areas of Terminal C for architectural, HVAC, and lighting upgrades, aesthetically unifying these areas with the recently completed Checkpoint Consolidation Project and Ticketing Hall Improvements Project. Construction is scheduled to be complete in the spring of 2012. The specific areas and associated improvements are as follows:

Vestibules - Complete renovation to architectural interior finishes, automatic entrances, high-efficiency LED lighting, and HVAC controls of the six primary vestibules serving the ticketing hall, baggage claim, and ground transportation areas.

Salon Corridor - Located adjacent to the ticketing hall, the salon corridor will receive a complete renovation to the architectural interior finishes, high-efficiency LED lighting, and HVAC improvements.

Elevator - Located on the north end of the ticketing hall, the existing elevator will receive new cab interior finishes and LED lighting. The elevator vestibule has been redesigned to improve visibility for the traveling public and to clearly direct them toward the baggage and ground transportation areas.

Piers B and C Stairways - Along with new escalators, the stairways were clad in wall panels for a cohesive assimilation with the adjacent Checkpoint Area while providing improved durability and high-efficiency LED lighting.

Terminal A Artwork Relocation - Salvaged artwork from the Terminal C Ticketing Hall has been relocated to the Terminal A Ticketing Hall.
