Rizvi Architects
Logan Intl. Airport - Carrier Relocation Project

Rizvi Architects were the architects for the largest carrier relocation ever at Logan airport involving six airlines and 13 new and refurbished gates including all airline operations and back-of-house space in Terminals B and C. Work included new security check-points that were designed to post-9/11 standards including a baggage screening CTX machine, as well as work stations, crew lounges, ticket counters, rest rooms, an operations center, baggage slide, conference room, and ADA compliant features such as ramps. Among the various interior design services provided by Rizvi Architects was one airline’s President’s Club, which included a bar, lounge, information center, restrooms and a meeting room. A complicated domino plan was designed, requiring many moves and relocations for the successful completion of the project. This ultra-fast track project was designed and built on an aggressive schedule of 120 days in early 2003.
